Review: Clarins Hydraquench Cream- Amelia Liana Inspired Purchase!

You know how sometimes you see someone talk about a product over and over again and you get all influenced by it and you’re dying to try it out? This happens to me too. And for this product, I was influenced by Amelia Liana, UK Youtuber (I freakin love her by the way).

So she mentioned this Clarins Hydraquench moisturizer a couple of times in her videos and also her blog so I was like that’s it! Im gonna get it after I finish my Keihl’s Ultra Facial Cream which I liked but kinda feel like my face got immune to it. So I ran out of it and went to a Clarins counter and asked for this but the lady there recommended that I get the gel version but I refused of course.

I believe that I know my skin the best and I wont really listen to any salesperson’s opinion, almost ever when it comes to skincare unless I’m really in a dilemma hahaha. And I prefer to really feel like my moisturizer is doing something to my face so I dont really go for any gels on the face. Reason being that gels tend to sink in way too fast and leave no trace whatsoever. Some people may like that, but I dont and that’s just my personal preference when it comes to products.

So long story short, this is one of those products which I know right away that I completely love! There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it and most importantly it does not clog my pores or make me break out. The texture is not too thick or too light and for a cream, it sinks in really well making my skin feeling uuuuuber soft and moisturized. It can also be used under makeup and it makes my makeup go on a lot smoother so this is my go-to day & night moisturizer. It has a lovely light scent which I adore. The way it moisturizes is perfect and it doesn’t leave a tacky or sticky feeling and it definitely feels like it’s doing something good to my skin.

I highly recommend this product and the best part of buying it at a Clarins counter, you’ll get tons of Clarins product samples too which is always awesome 😀

This retails at RM180 for 50ml.

Thanks for reading guys! Xx
