Review & Routine: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow products

Hi alllls

Thought of doing a post all about the brows today featuring Anastasia Beverly Hills products. If you’re not familiar with this brand, basically Anastasia is a much loved goddess of brow products coz honestly her brow wiz pencil is the best brow pencil of life. But I need to tell you that these products are not available here in Malaysia but you can always use ComGateway to get them from directly from Sephora U.S or Anastasia’s website itself. If you’re not keen on that, you can also buy them from but the choices there are kinda limited.

Lets get started.. I have 5 of her brow products which are the Dip Brow Pomade in Dark Brown, Brow Wiz in Dark Brown, Tinted Brow Gel in Brunette, Brow Fix and also her brow brush #15. You can use all of this products simultaneously if you like and I do that sometimes too but today I’m gonna apply brow wiz on one side of my brow and the dipbrow pomade on the other to show you how the two products differ. I have no negative things to say whatsoever about any of these products and I love each and every single one to death and they’re definitely repurchase material.

Throughout the whole process of a brow routine it’s extremely important to use the spoolie to brush through and shape the brows the way you want it to be and also to blend out the products so it’s great that the brow wiz pencil comes with a spoolie at the other end.

So the first thing I do is apply the brow fix on my brows. Yeah on the website it says that it’s best to use this after applying colored brow products but I’m not one to follow rules and I do what I think looks best on me haha. So this is a clear wax textured pencil and it  locks the brow hair in place for me so it is definitely easier for me to work with brow pencil or pomade after applying this.

Then I just fill in and shape my brows with the Anastasia Brow Wiz. This was the first product I owned from the brand and I repurchased this coz I love it sooooo much it’s truly worth the hype. It’s not too hard or too soft and it’s basically fool proof coz you can never go overboard with this, it’s super easy to control. It’s also very natural and the picture above is one of my brows done using only the brow wiz pencil. Not too bad right. And if I want it to be darker and fuller I’ll add The Body Shop Brow Powder on top of it.

Onto my left brow with the Dipbrow Pomade. This my first pomade brow product and I gotta say the first time I used it, it was a disaster and it got me damn frustrated coz I used too much and it was thick and messy haha. To use this product you need the perfect brush to go with it coz the control you get on this product depends a lot on the brush. At first I applied this with a Laura Mercier brow brush but it was too thick so I bought the Anastasia Brow Brush #15 and it made applying this much easier coz it’s dense and thin.

To me, the brow wiz definitely gives a more natural finish compared to the brow pomade but I love both for different occasions. It’s definitely faster to get the brows done with the Brow Wiz pencil than the brow pomade but if you’re going somewhere fancy and wants a perfectly carved brows, why not? hehe…

The last step of my brow routine to seal the deal and keep everything in place the whole day, I use the Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel. This is a great product even for a “no makeup makeup day” coz it makes your brows look fuller and it’s doesn’t leave the brow looking hard and crunchy. Also, it helps the brows to stay on all dayyyyy.

IMG_6989So yeah! That’s basically my brow routine and those are the products I use on a daily basis. On the left in the photo is the brow wiz and on the right is the dipbrow pomade both in dark brown.

Have a nice Sunday guys! Thanks for reading! xx

Hi bella, does the anastasia beverly hills in bangkok only do grooming? Do they sell products too? Any chance they have the contour kits and shadows retailed there?
