When it comes to makeup, it’s pretty hard for me to go through products coz I change up the products that I use almost everyday. So when I do get through any of my makeup products it’s either because I really love it or I dislike it but don’t wanna waste it. Here are a collective makeup empties that I wanna share along with a miniiii review.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Oily skin in 180 Nude Beige
This is the first and only liquid foundation that I’ve finished so that’s saying something. If you have oily skin, this is the drugstore foundation for you. It give full coverage and it will help you stay matte longer than most foundations in this humid weather. I love this and I’m getting another one soon. Only downside is that it has no pump and the consistency is a bit thick so it’s easy to waste the product if you’re not careful.
TARTE Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation in Fair Light Neutral
I really love this one as well as you can see I’ve used up 2 and still have another one in my drawer. This is my first powder foundation and it’s pretty flexible really. If you use it with a dense kabuki brush it gives a ton of coverage on its own but you can also use a large powder brush and lightly sweep it across the face to set liquid foundation. It controls oil beautifully and gives a beautiful finish. Obsessed
This I didn’t really like and I used it up just for the sake of it. I feel that it’s a bit oily that it glides off my face. The coverage is only average and I will not repurchase this coz there are better stick concealers out there for half the price.
KATE Stick Concealer in Natural Beige
I’ve never heard or read about this concealer anywhere and I don’t know why coz it’s amazing for the price and you can get it at Watson’s. This is wayyyyy better than the TARTE one and it’s literally half the price. The coverage it gives is legit and the consistency is just perfect. Not too oily not too dry.. just really creamy and bendable. But there are only 2 shades available so if it matches you, try it out! I’ve been using this for yearsss and I’ve gone through atleast 15 of em, for real.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard
If I have to pick ONE concealer for the rest of my life this would be it. I’ve raved about this over and over again. The price is a little cray but it is worth it I promise you. I love this to death! It’s full coverage, it’s creamy, it blends like a dream and it can be used under the eyes and spots. And it lasts all day long. Perfection to the core.
Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Blaquer 42 (Black)
Gone through 2 of these but I already threw the other one away. This is a real heavy duty pencil eye liner because it will not budge. I personally have watery eyes sometimes and all eyeliners I’ve tried in the past will smudge no matter what it claimed to do. But this one literally stayed on for such a long time and it’s really creamy, super jet black and highly pigmented. The only eyeliner for the waterline that I’ll recommend.
Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express Mascara in Very Black
I prefer this mascara over the new Big Eyes one just because the formula is better and not so dry. This is alright for a drugstore mascara, it’s not necessarily cheap but I didn’t repurchase this coz I’ve found a new love in the lashes department.
This is the best mascara I’ve tried as of now. It works so well for me and it volumizes and lengthens my lashes like no other. Not clumpy too. Vavavoom lashes are always good anytime, anyday haha.
TARTE EmphasEYES Brow Pencil in Medium Brown
In my previous post, I declared my undying love for Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and nothing compares to it but this was the closest thing I found and I enjoyed using this. But I didnt buy this again coz I restocked my brow wiz thanks to ComGateway‘s service!
Those are all the makeup that I have gone through and they’re going into the trash after this haha. Hope this post will give you a rough idea of the products above! Goodnight guys xx
