Review: L’herboflore Sheet Masks

I go through phases where I’ll use something a lot at a time and then somehow forget about them later on. Is it just me or is that normal? Lately, I’ve been digging sheet masks all over again coz it’s the best way to relax and give my skin a pamper time at the comfort of my own home while watching American Horror Story with the aircond on and a scented candle lighted up mmm… So anyway, my soulmate went to China recently and got me some L’herboflore sheet masks. Not some, I got 12 of them to be precise. So thanks babe ❤

I’ve never heard of this brand before and if you notice from my posts on skincare, I don’t really use Asian skincare brands but when I saw this I was sooooooooooo intrigued coz the packaging is just so damn pretty! If you’re like me and never heard of this brand before, L’herboflore is a brand from Taiwan that leans more towards the luxury side that specializes in all kinds of masks.

I’ll quickly run through the 3 masks that I tried:

Rose Water Refining Hydromask

Rich in Damask Rose Water that repairs, hydrates and nourishes the skin. Addition of Trehalose, hyaluronic acid and Aloe Vera provide long-lasting hydration, and is soothing to the skin.

Apart from the lovely fresh rose scent which I personally adore, this mask left my skin incredibly soft and supple. I pat the remaining essence into my skin, hop into bed and the next morning, my skin looks better than ever and deeply moisturized too.

Cherry Blossom Whitening Mask

Yoshino Cherry Blossom extract have skin-softening and skin-brightening effects. It refines, nourishes and moisturises the skin. Addition of Trehalose, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera provide long-lasting hydration, and is soothing to the skin.

This one not only hydrates my skin, but also brightens it instantly after I use it. I use all these masks right before I go to bed to get the full benefit from the essence and not wasting and washing it off from my face coz that kinda defeats the purpose in my humble opinion haha. I think this mask is a good weekly whitening treatment and if I have the chance I would definitely stock up on this too.

Deep Sea Balancing Mask

Red Algae Repairing Essence effectively balances skin condition and regulates the skin to enhance the moisture and smoothness of the skin. White willow extract helps soften skin cells and refine pores, balancing the oil and water levels of your skin. Deep ocean water, rich in minerals, activates and soothes the skin.

Perfect timing. You have no idea how much i needed this now that I’m off Diane35, my skin is a little more oily than usual and this came in real handy I have to say. I have used two of these and I love it. Makeup goes on nicely the next day and my skin looks and feel better after using this.

All in all, you can tell that these masks are of high quality coz the mask sheet itself is not too thick or too thin and it feels perfectly comfortable on the face. It also did not dry out when I left it on for more than 20 minutes. I sometimes get carried away with these masks, on purpose hehe. The leftover essence on the skin is not sticky or tacky like some of the other sheet masks that I’ve tried and it sinks into the skin after a few pats. These are not available in Malaysia as far as I know but if you know how to get it online, do tell me! And if you ever see L’Herboflore anywhere while travelling, be sure to give it a try! It’s amazing you’ll love it. xx
