Pre Event: The Party of The Century 2015 Part 2

The day’s getting closer to The Party of The Century and that means going back in time to the 1920’s theme of the party. If you missed out on the part 1 of this post you can click here. Basically, I was invited to the preview night of the spectacular 2.5 million square feet of net let-table retail area, 8 corporate towers and office suites, 3 international 5+ star and 5 star hotels and a cinema themed hotel are built around the 5 pillars that are at the core of Empire City; Design, Art, Music, Performance and Culture.

The performing artists line ups are of course Paris Hilton, Taboo from Black Eyed Peas, Mark Vincent, 2AM KPOP boy band and joining them to attend the event will be Hong Kong TVB Artists Him Low, Sharon Chan & Eliza Sum.

So back to the party’s theme. 1920’s were all about long conservative dresses making them look wayyy more of a lady than any of us now with our shorts and jeans haha. 11-vertPersonally, what comes to my mind when I think of 1920’s besides Downton Abbey and the Great Gatsby (both of which I super LOVE)  is that back then, they really take accessories very seriously. If you watch either one of them, you’ll notice that they were all about full-on hair piece, beaded necklaces, and dainty purses.

And this basically sums up 1920’s fashion.

I went shopping with mom yesterday for my “attire” and we managed to find everything that I needed thanks to her ❤ I’m so excited to travel back in time for just one night and I’m psyched to see any of you who are going too!
