Review & Lip swatches: 100%Pure Fruit Pigmented Lip Glaze

Back again with another review! 100% Pure Malaysia was the sweetest to send to me two of their Fruit Pigmented Lip Glazes in shades Daiquiri and Watermelon last month. I was super happy to finally try an all-natural lipstick coz what I’ve tried in the past were only organic lip balms. Been really putting these lip products to the test just to be sure on what I think of them before sharing it on my blog for you guys so my thoughts are real 🙂

First of, if you have not heard of the brand 100% Pure, they are a cruelty free skincare and cosmetics company from the United States that stands firm by their statement of being “The absolute most healthy, the most pure line of nourishing personal care made with the highest quality ingredients. Free of any harmful toxins that are common in other cosmetics – because our skin absorbs”.

Their Fruit Pigmented Lip Glazes are gorgeous colors from fruit pigments in a moisturizing base of avocado and cocoa butters. 100% natural formula will give your lips a sheer wash of fruit pigmented color while nourishing your lips with vitamins and antioxidants.

Packaging and scent

IMG_9604IMG_9605Their card board tube packaging is really cute and the lipstick itself is packaged in a metal material and it’s real sturdy and slim so it’s easy to carry around in our purse. It has a slight fruity scent to it but mostly smells like a regular lipstick. Nothing offensive.

Pigmentation, finish and build-ability

They dont look like much swatched on the back of my hand, but on the lips they’re pretty!

IMG_9606These are definitely not the most pigmented lip products I own and that’s perfect if you’re into natural looking lips, “your lips but better” kind of look which I dig on most days. I think the shade Daiquiri which is the more pink one will look real pretty with a light makeup and it will give you get that healthy “Korean Makeup look” with it on the lips.  The shade Watermelon is definitely more pigmented and opaque which you will see in the lip swatches below. They have more of a Satin finish and I prefer satins on an everyday basis coz they feel a lot more comfy on my lips.

My thoughts

Wearing Watermelon

IMG_9612I definitely love these for an everyday lip product. I keep either one in my purse everyday to touch up my lips throughout the day. They aren’t super long lasting because they’re not matte/stains but they dont just rub off with one swipe too. Touching up lip products isn’t a hassle so yeah no biggie at least to me coz sometimes I even do it subconsciously hahaha. They are definitely NOT DRYING and very very moisturizing instead on my often chapped lips which is a plus coz aint nothing worse than lips looking like dried prunes. The sheen on them make my lips look plumped and healthy which I obviously adore! I personally find myself reaching for Watermelon more than Daiquiri just coz it shows up more on my pale lips.

So yeah guys, that’s it! If you’re interested in an all natural makeup & skincare brand or to check out the Fruit Pigmented Lip Glaze which retails at RM90 each, click here: 100% Pure Malaysia
