Review: BEST Face Cleanser & it’s under rm30!

I was on a mission to find the perfect cleanser so as usual, reading reviews and watching YouTube was what I’ve been doing in hopes of finding a cleanser that appeals to me. My skin was freaking out since December because I stopped my Retin-A for a while and changed up too many products in my makeup & skincare routine. I can tell that my skin was immune to the cleansers that I’ve been using so I was determined to get a new one and I finally found it. A drugstore affordable face cleanser, mind you!

I have been including more Asian skincare brands into my regimen lately because somehow I feel that they work better for me. So I knew that my next cleanser has to be from an Asian brand :p After all the research, I decided to try the Hada Labo AHA + BHA Face Wash that I got from Guardian for less than rm30 (on sale)! My cleansers have always been from high end brands and I’ve tried many expensive ones so for me to legit RAVE bout this drugstore affordable cleanser, has gotta mean something.

They have two versions of this cleanser, one is a regular cream texture and the other one is foam. I opt for the cream one because I’ve read that it goes well with Clarisonic and I cannot agree more! Foam cleansers tend to be more drying so I stay away. Just my personal preference.

It claims to:

  • Gently exfoliates skin to remove impurities, dirt & oil trapped within pores.
  • Polishes away dullness & refine skin texture for visibly clear, smooth & radiant skin.
  • Skin pH balanced. Low irritation.
  • Free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol & colorant.
  • This product should be used with a sunscreen product.

It does not have any exfoliating beads in it. The texture is a smooth cream and the exfoliation it claims to do is by using the acids ingredient itself, so it’s definitely gentle and safe to be used twice a day which I’ve been doing for the past month. In the morning, I use it on its own and in the evening, after cleaning my makeup off with cleansing water, I put this on my face and go in with my Clarisonic. It lathers up real nicely making my face feel EXTREMELY clean! A little goes a long way.

This product feels like an expensive cleanser on the skin I swear, the quality is bomb. It does not have any scent to it whatsoever and it never broke me out, not even once. It doesn’t strip the moisture from my face either even when I use it in the morning. This is definitely my holy grail face cleanser because I think it played a massive role in improving my skin condition in the past month and keeping my breakouts at bay. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing it over and over! My bae :p tried this and he was all over it like I am.. and he’s not typically a skincare person so.. this shiz is good yo. Goes to show that just coz it’s affordable, doesn’t mean it wont work! I highly recommend! I sound like an Avon lady but I swear this is not a sponsored post and I bought this with my own money. Hada Labo doesnt even know who I am hahaha.

For more info, you can visit their website HERE

It retails at rm31.90 but it’s on sale now till 24 Feb 2015 for only rm26.88! So if you wanna try it go get it soon. Available at Guardian.

Thanks for reading guys!white
