So this product really stood out to me personally and being the beauty junkie I am, I was pretty psyched to try out the first EE Cream I’ve heard of. Clinelle is a not a new brand to me coz I’ve used a couple of their products previously and really liked them, to say the least. Their products are about no fuss and straight to the point. Simplicity, which I dig. So what’s this EE Cream?

I don’t wanna bore you with facts coz I can go on and on bout this amazing product coz this EE Cream has a ton of skincare & makeup benefits that you can read about, HERE!
Basically, This product can be used as the last step of your morning skincare routine or act as a makeup primer/base all at the same time. The coverage it provides is pretty decent I say light to medium so if you don’t have skin concerns you can use this all on its own and top it off with a powder and you’re good to go.
If you have acne scars like I do, you can always spot conceal and it will look flawless too. This is easily blendable and buildable so two layers of the Clinelle EE cream will not give you that cakey look whatsoever.
- The way I use Clinelle EE Cream
After applying a separate face primer, I then go in with the EE cream and blend it all across my face with a brush. I usually use 2 thin layers to achieve the coverage that I want and then I spot conceal my acne scars and cover up my dark circles with my concealer. After that, I continue with the rest of my face makeup as usual. This substitutes my foundation like any other BB creams would. With a good setting powder, the lasting power of this EE Cream is a good 7-8 hours.
- My take on the Clinelle EE Cream
Im actually loving this EE Cream a lot more than I thought I would. It is easily blendable and buildable (doesn’t take much effort), decent coverage, good lasting power for a whole day of work too! The finish of this EE Cream is definitely not matte but nothing too glowy either. It gives a beautiful satin finish and if you’re into matte finishes, you can always powder up or just leave it as it is for a healthy looking skin. It’s personal preference really. The only downside to it I feel is thatit comes in only
two shades but if you are looking into this for the skincare benefits or as a primer, then that’s not a con at all! This product is incredibly moisturizing in a good way even for an oily skin girl like me. I can see normal to dry skin girls LOVING this coz its so comfortable on the skin and doesn’t cling onto dry patches. If you still somehow find it dehydrating throughout the day, you can always refresh your skin with a spritz of Clinelle Pure Swiss Thermal Spring Water anytime your skin’s thirsty! 😉
Before I forget, Clinelle is currently running a Selfie Contest at the moment! I suggest you try your luck to snag some of these amazing prizes 🙂
This EE cream retails for rm65.90 each and is available at your local drugstores that carry Clinelle.
