Review: Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner for Sensitive Skin

Laneige has gotta be my favorite reliable brand when it comes to skincare. I bought a ton of stuff from the brand and I was never disappointed. So when I ran out of my Body Shop and Mario Badescu toner, I bought this Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner for Sensitive Skin to try out. I am currently on my second month of Oratane pills (more info HERE) and my skin is transitioning from oily to normal/ slightly dry so this review will be based on my current skin type. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I think it deserves a review on its own. If you wanna know more bout this product in terms of claimed benefits, click HERE.

This has been my toner twice a day everyday and I have nothing but good things to say bout it. First lets get this outta the way: if you think toning your face after cleansing is unnecessary, you’re wrong. It seems like a pointless extra step that I used to skip too but it does make a difference. It’s so important to re balance your skin after the cleanse and toning also helps get rid of any excess dirt or makeup that you might miss while during cleansing. So lets get into the product!

First, it comes in a plastic bottle which is safe for travelling (thank god its not glass). While I know that its possible to pour products into tiny travelling bottles, I just find that its like a hassle im lazy like that. To each their own la huh haha.

It has no scent whatsoever since it is catered for sensitive skin and I appreciate that. It’s incredibly gentle and it makes my skin feel so comfortable after cleansing. You know how some toners might be overly moisturizing that you feel slimy and some feels like it strips moisture off your skin? This one doesnt do either of that and its just perfect, it makes my skin feel so normal and balanced. I’ve tried toners in the past that broke me out and this Laneige one has only been improving my skin without aggravating it.

Also, the size of the bottle (200ml), completely justifies the price. I think this is an amazing toner because it does everything a toner should do and it makes my skin feel so good! You can get the Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner at Sephora or any Laneige counters. It retails for a little over rm100, I forgot the exact price, sorry 😦 Really hope this review helps if you’re in the market for a new toner 🙂

Thanks for reading guys! xx
