Review: Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective White Skincare Range

Hey people! Ready for another skincare review? πŸ˜€

I, like many other people in this world, suffer from acne. And you know, with acne there will always be scars, atleast for me. Although my breakouts aren’t as bad as it was before, I still get an outbreak once a month because of my hormones and they leave nasty pigmented scars dude. To get rid of the acne is one thing, but to get rid of the scars is way harder.

I received these from Kiehl’s a while back (thankiu Kiehl’s!) and it took me months to come up with this review coz I wanted to use it up and share the end results. But if you follow my Snapchat (Bellabae52) you would see mini reviews of them there.

This skincare line from Kiehl’s claims to help with hyper pigmentation and the brightening of the skin. So I think I’m the right person to try this coz god knows I have pigmented scars hahah. I have 3 products and I’ll share my thoughts with you on each of them.

  • Skin Brightening Exfoliator

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESI’ve used this product before and this is my second tube. It’s a gentle physical exfoliator for me coz the beads in it aren’t harsh at all so if you like those super hardcore exfoliation once a week, this is definitely not it. I use this a couple times a week in place of a cleanser and I enjoy using it because it foams up well so it makes my skin feel clean on its own but it doesnt strip my skin or make it feel sore whenever I have breakouts. SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESIn terms of brightening, I’m not too sure if it brightens my skin on its own but I personally did not depend on this for brightening purposes. I like it as a gentle enfoliator for my skin and exfoliating for me, is really important and I do it atleast once a week. It doesn’t aggravate my skin whatsoever.

  • Clarity-Activating Toner

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESAs you can see from this picture, I have basically zero left and that’s a bummer coz this has gotta be my favorite tonerrrr guys. I only have good things to say about it.

It has no scent and yup, thats a plus for me. It works extremely well as a toner, does not make my skin feel dried out or tight, doesn’t sting when I have an open wound (popped zit), and I feel that this helped to brighten my skin with continuous use along with the serum. It’s amazing and I’m thinking of repurchasing this when I use up all my other toners. I have 4 more that I wanna try out.

  • Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESLet’s talk about the star of the show, the concentrate/serum whatever you wanna call it. I’m almost empty coz I used this religiously and I waited for it to finish to review the whole range. Although I did cheat a bit and rave bout it on Snapchat a couple times :p

I had high hopes for this when I first got it and lemme just say, it did not let me down. This serum has no scent, it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the skin and it doesn’t burn at all even when I applied on a popped zit. And after using up the whole bottle, I am happy to report that it works on lightening my pigmented acne scars. I use this every night along with the toner and both of them combined is heaven for reducing scars okay.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESAt first, it took me a couple weeks, close to a month to see results but I definitely notice a difference on my skin and how fast a scar fades, especially new scars. When it comes to products that claim to lighten pigmentation or reduce wrinkles, I honestly think the key is to be consistent and I saw amazing results.

Before & After of my acne and the scars. This was taken 3 weeks apart. It definitely did not happen overnight but I was patient with it, and it was worth it.

IMG_6522-vertThis is a range from Kiehl’s that I totally adore. I personally invest more on skincare than I do on makeup and I think these are worth it. It really did work for me, and if you decide to try it, I hope it works for you too πŸ™‚

Thank you for reading xx
