It’s been a couple months since I’ve updated bout my everyday skincare so here’s one for you. This is not a skincare routine post coz I just want to share with you the skincare products that I’ve been loving. I’m keeping my skincare routine post for later because I’m recording my skin’s journey with Retin-A/Tretinoin cream and I will put that one up when I’m 100% happy with my skin.
But these products are what I’ve been loving for a couple months now. I’s a hardcore believer in them and I absolutely love how they work for my skin type which is acne prone combination.
- Bioderma Sensibio & Hydrabio Micellar Water
Although I’ve tried cleansing balms, makeup wipes and cleansing oils, I still prefer cleansing water as my first cleanse. I’m almost out of these two coz I’ve been using them daily and I love em!
The blue bottle (hydrabio) is a more hydrating version and it has a slight scent to it compared to the regular pink one (sensibio) but they both work really well at removing all my makeup. They’re gentle and they don’t irritate my skin. I know they’re a bit on the pricey side but I personally think they’re worth it.
- Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
My holy grail face cleanser right here because it doesn’t dry my skin out at all and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated after cleansing and that’s a very comfortable feeling. It’s extremely gentle that even if it goes into my eyes, I wont feel any burning sensation.
It has no scent, doesn’t lather up much at all but it’s so good as a second cleanse. I came to a conclusion that foaming cleansers that lather up a lot is
not what my skin needs. I use this morning and night and I don’t see why I would stop using it (atleast for now). And if you’ve been to dermatologists before, you know that this is one of the brands of facial cleanser that they’ll recommend.
- St Ives Green Tea Scrub
I’m back to using this facial scrub because Im taking a break from my Clarisonic so this is my pick for exfoliation. It has salicylic acid in it which is acne medication so it gets rid of my dead skin and also helps reduce future breakouts. This is my third tube so I’m no stranger to it and I know for a fact that it works for my skin.
- Lancome Genifique Eye Youth Activating Eye Cream
Eye creams are very tricky and it’s hard for me to find one that I really like but this one, I really enjoy using. It’s not too thick to be applied under makeup and my concealer sits really well on top of it and it’s very hydrating for night time use as well. I like that I dont have to fuss around with two different eye creams for day and night because this takes care of my eye area really well AM/PM 🙂
That’s it! These are the products that I’ve been enjoying and they do good things to my skin! Thank you guys for reading xx
